New sizes for all my diapers!

Now that I have had lots of real practice diapering baby dolls, I have decided to offer them in two sizes. One for smaller dolls like Little Mommy and the newborn Cabbage Patch dolls and one for larger dolls (14 inches and above). Diapering the Little Mommy dolls with their tight clothing using the larger diapers was a little bit of a challenge! :)

I'm so thrilled because my little one loved her new diapers and didn't want to open any other gifts after seeing her new doll diapers. She was and still is content to change her poopy doll babies over and over and over again. She's the reason I started making them and it warms my heart to know how much she loves them.

I hope everyone had a very nice holiday and a very happy and safe New Year.

Lots of new additions to my Etsy site!

I sewed 4 new diapers last night in brand new patterns and I'm really excited about adding them to my Etsy site! The one what was added today is a Breast Cancer pattern that I'm thrilled to have found. It is found on my Etsy site here

I also have a blue/teal color diaper with hearts and diamonds on it that is probably my favorite diaper so far! I will be adding that one to my site tomorrow, so check back! I have a diaper that I have called "A Day at the Zoo" because it has monkeys, giraffes, blue elephants and palm trees on it. Finally, I have a diaper I have named "A Spring Day" that is purple and has rainbows, butterflies, snails and flowers all over it. It's such a bright and fun diaper!

I have also listed a new set of hair bows which can be found here:

I have red, black and bluebird colors as well that I will be listing soon.

I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.

New Etsy site to make your shopping easier!

I have just set up a new Etsy shop to make all of my listing easier and hopefully to encourage more folks to view my diapers and hair bows. I still want to keep up my blog as well, but it might not be every day now.

I went and picked up some more fleece last night and I also couldn't resist picking up a new pink tie dye flannel fabric as well. :) I hope to make some diapers in this new fabric tonight so that I can take pictures and post them. I won't have all of my fabric choices up on Etsy until probably the end of the week because I want to be patient (not my strong suite if you know me well) and add one new item per day to keep my name on top of the search listings.

I also have to make more clips in all of the new colors that I got. I have purple now, a nice blue color, red, black, white and pink.

Take care and Happy Holidays! I can't believe there are only 11 days left until Christmas!!

My Etsy site is found by clicking here or visiting this address: http://www.etsy.com/shop/Cranmommissy

SALE now through Sunday plus new project

So, tonight I decided to vedge out on the couch, but ended up making a headband. I'm not sure if I'm going to pursue these or not because they take so long to make, but it was fun to learn how to do it. I did buy a dozen head bands, so I would like to sell a few to get rid of them all! :) This first one is a purple and green weave headband. I didn't do the inside of it the way that I wanted, but will do it next time. Please let me know if there is any interest in this type of headband. I can do any color you like, up to four colors. If you want a color I do not have, I will have to order it, so these will not have a quick turn around time.

I made this weave pattern awhile ago and finally finished it tonight when I got my headbands. My brain does not work well weaving, so it took me a long time to do it! I don't think I'm going to pursue making these, but it sure is cute!

New Holiday Diaper and new clip ribbon

I made a new diaper tonight with the holiday flannel I got. I think it is pretty close to the best diaper I have made yet! I got smaller elastic for the legs and back and it's pretty much even all the way around. I have lots of this fabric left! $5.50 for the diaper and $1.50 shipping. I combine shipping if you would like something else I have for sale.

New hair clip fabric is on the way!

I ordered a bunch of new hair clip ribbin today and as soon as I get it I will post all of the colors that I bought. I also got some plastic headbands to make some woven headbands.

I'm excited to sew all of the diapers in the new fabric I picked up recently as well, but can only do one project at a time after the kids go to sleep. ;)

Right now it's snowing outside and preschool has already been delayed! Christmas time is coming, what an amazing time of year.

Happy Holidays!

I have added some non slip material inside of the clips to keep them in even the finest baby hair. Here are some examples of what I have right now. I'm asking $1.50 per clip and $1.00 shipping

Baby Doll Cloth Diaper Adventure!

I have recently started sewing my daughter some diapers for her baby dolls because she has started showing an interest in their poop habits. She cheerfully announces that "Baby POOPED" and toddles off to her room where her own diaper is changed. Of course none of her baby dolls come with diapers, so I decided to make her some myself. I found it pretty enjoyable to create something so cute and versatile that I decided to see if there was an interest out there for toddler girls or boys to have their very own diapers to change their little babies.

Of course I remember as a child begging my mother for diapers to change all my babies, but we searched and searched the baby doll department every time we went to the store, but could never find any. My mother was not about to buy me expensive disposable diapers either because like any good mommy, I would dutifully change my baby every 5 minutes to see if she went potty and throw all of the "used" ones away. I never understood why that was a big deal until I grew up and realized just how expensive those disposable diapers are! I have joyfully cloth diapered each one of my children as much as possible, but now that they are in a daycare center they require disposable diapers much to my dismay.

My daughter will be getting a very large lot of cloth diapers from Santa Claus this year. They are mostly test diapers using different fabrics, some are crooked, some have imperfections but she won't care. She can lovingly change her babies as much as she would like. This will also hopefully encourage to keep her babies clothed since she much prefers them naked right now! :-)

In the future I hope to add matching flannel wipes along with a case to keep the wipes in, possibly even matching baby blankets, but I have to start small and work big.

This diaper is made out of flannel on the outside and anti pill fleece on the inside. I have several diapers in this fabric. If you would like to purchase this diaper, chick the "Add to Cart" button below the picture.
